Harry was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he studied Architecture before moving to London to work across residential and commercial projects. After leading multiple projects as a project architect in London, alongside developing personal work in Greece, he decided it was the right time to establish his own practice.
Harry’s strengths lie in space planning, detailed design, a holistic understanding of projects, and strong technical knowledge. Growing up in Greece shaped his belief that light -or the absence of it- has a powerful impact on mood and wellbeing.
His work focuses on opening spaces to their surroundings and maximising natural light wherever possible. When this isn’t achievable, a carefully considered lighting strategy becomes central to the design.
As co-founder of Thema Architects, established with Marianne in 2021, Harry leads the studio in delivering high-quality, thoughtful design. Through careful detailing and the selection of refined materials and finishes, he aims to create spaces that enhance everyday life. He believes every project benefits from being continually questioned, refined, and viewed from different perspectives - only then can a proposal truly feel resolved.
